Profitline: Generative AI: 78% of companies are investing in the new technology, but only one in three is prepared for it

Unisys’ latest global survey reveals a widening gap between tech ambition and IT readiness. While 78% of companies plan to invest in generative AI, only 36% feel prepared to operationalize deployment plans. Outdated infrastructure, reactive cybersecurity strategies, and misaligned priorities continue to hinder progress—especially in Europe, where enthusiasm outpaces capability.
